What is pain when God is there beside you.
This was the message given to me last last week.
Been thinking about it from time to time and can only say there is no pain when God is there beside you. God is like a cushion. When you fall, he cushions your fall, like the airbag in cars to protect us from serious injuries if we meet with an accident one day.
I just want to share this with all after being enlightened by Freddy blood covenant talk on friday. Just that it might be a little different.
There was a guy who was born from a poor family in some poor country. As he grew up, people kept telling him that America is the richest in this world, and all successful people comes from one place which was America. So being inspired by it, he saved up bit by bit, borrowing money from everyone he knew just to be able to board the ship to go America. He was determined even though he was not a rich guy, and in the end he was able to purchase a ticket to go there.
Every night on that boat there was a feast for all passengers. Everyone would dance, eat and sing merrily. But this guy would just stare at the windows of the dining hall, watching his fellow passengers feasting happily. Then he would just go back to his cabin, and eat the bread that he had packed from home, knowing that he was not able to afford the meals on board te ship.
Day past day, soon the ship reached America. As he was about to unboard, the captain saw him and approached him.
Captain:" Hey. For this whole journey, i didnt see you at our daily feast, what were you doing at those time? We were all kind of sad that you wasnt able to join us for even one meal. "
Guy:" I couldnt afford the meals here, i was in my cabin all awhile eating bread from home."
Captain:" Do you know that meals are also inclusive in your ticket?"
God is like the captain, who is there with an outstretched arms welcoming the Guy to join him in the feast. For all troubles we have, if we are willing to share with him our burdens, he will gladly lift them off our shoulders and lightened our worried minds. He is always there in our presence, to help us up when we fall, to accompany us in times of loneliness, and even if the whole world falls upon you, he will never leave you. No matter how broken are we, like humpty dumpty, he will pick the bits and pieces of us and make us whole again.
SO YOU WOULD COME
Verse 1
Before the world began
You were on His mind
And every tear you cry
Is precious in His eyes
Because of His great love
He gave His only son
Everything was done
So you would come
Verse 2
Nothing you can do
Could make Him love you more
And nothing that you’ve done
Could make Him close the door
Because of His great love
He gave His only son
Everything was done
So you would come
Chorus
Come to the Father
Though your gift is small
Broken heart broken lives
He will take them all
The power of the word
The power of His blood
Everything was done
So you would come
God is so brillant that he is here for everyone in this world. Nothing is impossible for him nothing. The world has so many people, yet he is able to touch us all one by one. The only thing that we must do is to trust and seek him.
"Ask and you will receive, seek and you shall find. Knock on the door and it will be open. For anyone who asks receives, and everyone who searches finds, and for everyone who knocks, the door will be open."
